Shiyi Chen

Shiyi Chen began their work experience as a Teaching Assistant at the Software Analysis and Compilation Lab, University of Delaware in August 2014. They then worked as a Research Assistant at the same lab from June 2015 to June 2016, where they implemented a text classification system in Python. In September 2016, Shiyi Chen joined the Chinese School of Delaware as a Web Application Developer, where they developed web apps using AngularJS and NodeJS. They also managed both relational and non-relational databases. In February 2017, Shiyi Chen became a QA Test Automation Engineer at Katabat, where they built a test automation framework and designed, created, and maintained test automation code. In October 2017, they transitioned to the role of Data Scientist at the same company.

Shiyi Chen completed a PhD program and earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Delaware in 2016.
