Pace Balster has extensive work experience in the aerospace and engineering fields. They have worked as a Product Manager at Katalyst Space Technologies since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Space Systems Engineer at the same company from June 2021 to May 2023. In 2020, Pace was a Guidance Navigation and Controls Intern at Northrop Grumman, and in 2019, they worked as a Flight Controls Engineering Intern at Gulfstream Aerospace. Pace also had internships as a Systems Engineering Intern at Rockwell Collins in 2018 and as an Engineering Laboratory Technician at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Pace was responsible for managing, constructing, and piloting a heavy-lift UAV, designing and 3-D printing components for the UAV, and handling remote spectroscopy equipment.

After completing high school, they enrolled at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2016 to 2018, majoring in Aerospace Engineering. Pace then transferred to Purdue University and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from 2018 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Pace Balster has also obtained additional certifications.
