Khalid Al-Sayed, PMP has an extensive work experience in various fields and positions. Khalid began their career in 2009 as an Editor in Chief at The Peninsula Newspaper. Khalid then went on to become the General Manager at Pen Qatar and later served as the CEO at Aljazeera Holding. In 2011, they joined Echo Media Qatar as a Media Consultant. Khalid also worked as a CEO at Vision Development and Project Management. In 2013, they became a Media & Cultural Consultant at The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara. Khalid later held the position of Director of Cultural Affairs & Events Department at the same organization. Additionally, Khalid served as a Cultural Consultant at Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and as a Board Member at Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE). Khalid also took on the role of an Editor in Chief at The Doha Globe and served as a Board Member at Itqan Holding.
Khalid Al-Sayed, PMP has an extensive education history. Khalid obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Northeastern University, where they studied from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, they earned an Associate in Science degree in Engineering from Northampton Community College, where they studied from 1991 to 1993.
In terms of further education, Khalid Al-Sayed pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Mondriaan Aura College, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Khalid attended the college from 2012 to 2014, completing their degree within this timeframe.
Moreover, Khalid Al-Sayed has obtained numerous certifications to enhance their professional skills. Khalid earned their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2022. In line with the goals set forward by the Qatar National Vision 2030, Katara serves as a guardian to the heritage and traditions of Qatar and endeavours to spread awareness about the importance of every culture and civilization and as such, Katara hosts international, regional and local festivals, workshops, performances and exhibitions. The Idea of Katara Katara was born out of a long held vision to position the State of Qatar as a cultural beacon a lighthouse of art, radiating in the Middle East through theatre, literature, music, visual art, conventions and exhibitions.
