Nasser Alkawari

Nasser AlKawari currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at Katara Hospitality since January 2023. Prior to this role, Nasser held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Msheireb Properties from October 2021 to November 2022. Nasser's experience includes serving as Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman at ASTAD Project Management from January 2019 to June 2021, and various leadership roles at ExxonMobil from February 2012 to December 2018, focusing on project management and shareholder interests in West Africa, alongside terminal and LNG operations. Earlier positions include Chief Operating Officer at Qatar Development Bank and various management roles at Qatargas, including significant contributions to a mega LNG project. Nasser began a career in the aviation sector as an Aircraft Engineer with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Management Program from IESE Business School, an EMBA from London Business School, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, and completion of a General Leadership Program at Thunderbird School of Global Management.
