Christopher Hauf

VP, Technology at Kateeva

An inkjet and color/imaging science expert, he leads the team that develops the core algorithms and inkjet writing systems that uniquely distinguish Kateeva’s printing systems. He is a key architect of Kateeva’s proprietary SmartMixing software technologies. He assumed his current position in March 2020.

Before Kateeva, Chris spent two decades as a Color and Imaging Scientist with the Eastman Kodak Company. During his tenure he worked on inkjet systems for home and commercial applications, as well as imaging systems for consumer, professional and commercial use. His special expertise was developing color-management strategies, tools, and technologies for Kodak’s world-class imaging solutions in environments ranging from R&D through to product development. His final role at the company was Principal Scientist and member of the Image quality, Reliability and Failure Analysis Team in Kodak’s Graphic Inkjet Platform Center.

Chris received a BS degree in Imaging Science and a MS degree in Color Science, both from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.
