Jacqueline Peterson

Jacqueline Peterson has worked in various roles since 2008. Jacqueline began their career as a Program Assistant at Columbia University in 2008. In 2010, they worked as a Returning Officer for Elections Alberta, a Constituent Assistant for the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, and an Executive Assistant for the Office of the Aldermen, City of Calgary. Jacqueline also worked as an Accreditation Officer for the Calgary Stampede in 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they were a PhD Researcher at the University of Toronto, where they conducted research on public art policy and urban transportation systems. During this time, they also served as a Research and Teaching Assistant. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Sessional Instructor and Research Assistant at the University of Calgary. In 2020, they began their current role as Director of Policy & Offsets at Kathairos Solutions Inc., where they conduct policy analysis on environmental regulations in Canada and the U.S.

Jacqueline Peterson completed their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University between 2001 and 2005. Jacqueline then attended Columbia | SIPA and obtained their Master of International Affairs in Economic and Political Development from 2007 to 2009. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science from the University of Toronto between 2013 and 2020.
