David Roos is the Vice President at Core Innovation Capital. David invests in early stage crypto, fintech, and insurtech companies/protocols. Their focus is on companies that deliver efficient, well-designed financial products that save people time and money, create upward mobility, and scale broadly. David is also a Board Observer for PayJoy, HealthSherpa, Klover, Spinwheel, Vemo, Assured Allies, Yotta, and Forward.
Prior to joining Core Innovation Capital, David was a Business Development Associate - Harvard Social Enterprise Fellow at CredPal. There they collaborated with the CEO to develop growth strategy and product strategy post seed-round funding.
Before CredPal, David was a Data Analyst and Business Operations Intern at Mobilize where they supported a political tech startup that drove over 1M volunteer shifts for the 2018 midterm elections.
David began their career as a Summer Intern at Morgan Stanley and the US Department of the Treasury.
David Roos has a Bachelor of Science from Stanford University in Management Science and Engineering, with a minor in Economics. David is currently completing their Master of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. David Roos is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Honors Engineering Society and Stanford Finance, and has served as a research assistant for the MS&E department and as a coach for Coaching Corps.
