Lucia Aparicio

Lucia Aparicio has a diverse work experience spanning 15 years. In 2021, they began working as a Design Specialist at Kathy Kuo Home, where they managed customer inquiries, upsold and identified opportunities for additional services, and sourced products and knowledge of different interior design styles for clients and designers. Lucia also began working as a Home Stylist at Havenly, where they interact with clients and delivers designs that align with their tastes/styles. In 2018, Lucia began working at Target as a Visual Merchandising Leader, where they improved the business fundamentals by 15%, planned and managed department daily/weekly workload to support business priorities, and coached and trained Style Consultants and General Merchandise Experts on best practices on visual merchandising and visual standards. Lucia began their career in 2010 at H&M, where they held two roles: Visual Merchandiser and Sales Advisor. As Visual Merchandiser, they were responsible for garment presentation to maximize sales according to company guidelines, executed visual display windows, organized the effective and efficient utilization of store space, and analyzed sales figures and forecasted future sales volumes. As Sales Advisor, they maintained an organized stockroom according to company guidelines, assisted the visual merchandising team in set up of campaigns and yearly collaborative designer for H&M, and trained new sales advisors for H&M Flagship stores on providing the best customer experience. In 2006, Lucia worked as a Resident Assistant at Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology, where they managed and oversaw 60 residents living in a dorm wing, mediated any building conflicts, assisted the Resident Director with their daily tasks, attended campus meetings, and demonstrated the necessary leadership, organizational, and time management skills, which led to a promotion to administrative Resident Assistant.

Lucia Aparicio obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Architectural Technology from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology between 2005 and 2010.
