Chingiz Aliyev

Chingiz Aliyev currently serves as General Counsel at KATIM since January 2023, overseeing various legal matters including corporate and commercial law, M&A, and dispute resolution. Prior to this role, Chingiz held the position of Head of Sales for Digital and Devices Contracts at Etisalat from March 2017 to January 2023, where leadership and team development were key responsibilities. As Senior Director of Commercial Legal and Procurement at Nar (Azerfon) from December 2010 to February 2017, contributions included legal and procurement support for multiple company functions. Earlier experiences also encompass several senior legal positions at AzMeCo Group of Companies and GRBS, ProWest Corporation. Chingiz's academic credentials include an LLM in International Business Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as executive education programs at Harvard Law School and the University of Oxford, complemented by additional legal degrees from Marmara University and Baku State University.
