Sonia Weymuller

Sonia Weymuller is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and entrepreneurship sector, currently serving as Co-Founder and General Partner at VentureSouq since 2013, focusing on FinTech and ClimateTech investments. In addition, Sonia holds advisory roles at various organizations, including the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center and Kauffman Fellows. As a Jury Member for the Cartier Women's Initiative and an Expert and Ambassador for THE ARK, Sonia contributes expertise to global business networks and wildlife conservation efforts. Past positions include board memberships at the Middle East Venture Capital Association and TiE Dubai, as well as an investment consultancy role at Acumen. Sonia Weymuller holds a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University and an MSc in Politics and Communication from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
