Susan Spears

Susan Spears is an accomplished investment professional currently serving as the Director of Private Equity at UTIMCO since May 2023. Additionally, Susan is a Fellow in Class 27 of the Kauffman Fellows program, which focuses on developing leaders in venture capital through a structured curriculum and extensive networking opportunities. Prior experience includes roles as an Investment Partner and Principal at Atento Capital from June 2020 to May 2023, and as an Associate at Argonaut Private Equity from December 2016 to June 2020, where the focus was on middle market buyouts in the Industrial, Manufacturing, and Energy Services sectors. Earlier in Susan's career, experience as a Tax Senior and Tax Staff at EY from July 2013 to December 2015 provided a solid foundation in accounting. Susan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business.
