Benjamin Young

Benjamin Young is an experienced production professional with a strong background in audio and technical management. Currently serving as Production Manager at The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University since December 2021 and at Kaufman Music Center since October 2015, Benjamin also operates as Owner and Chief Engineer at Red Cottage Audio since September 2003. Previous roles include Technical Manager at OPERA America, Assistant Technical Director at Merrill Auditorium, and Production Coordinator and Audio Supervisor at Boston Ballet. Benjamin's early career features sound design positions at Cape Playhouse and NST - Nuffield Southampton Theatres. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama from the University of Hull, completed in 2001.
