Scott Taylor is an accomplished music educator and program director with extensive experience in arts education and music instruction. Serving as the Program Director for the Lucy Moses School at Kaufman Music Center since May 2011, Scott coordinates artistic and educational planning for over 2,000 students and develops arts education programs. Additionally, Scott has been a faculty member at Greenwich House Music School since 2002, teaching music theory and violin, while also managing concerts and special events. With a strong background in private instruction and ensemble conducting, Scott emphasizes comprehensive musicianship through various teaching methods, including Franco-Belgian bowing technique. Scott holds a Master of Music in Music Theory from Mannes School of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Violin from City University of New York.
