Bo Thiesson

Bo Thiesson has a diverse work experience in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Bo is the Founder and President of AI at Kaunt A/S since 2019, where they developed an AI co-pilot for accounts payable coding. Prior to that, they were the President of AI at Enversion A/S from 2015, focusing on using data to make healthcare more proactive. Bo also worked as an Honorary Professor at Aarhus University from 2016 and as an Associate Professor at Aalborg University from 2013, where they taught machine learning and supervised students in their master theses. Bo has also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher and Software Design Engineer at Microsoft from 1996 to 2012, contributing to various AI and machine learning projects. Bo started their career as a Scientist and Research Assistant at Aalborg University from 1991 to 1996.

Bo Thiesson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics from Aalborg University in 1987. Bo then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the same university in 1989. Bo continued their education at Aalborg University and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science in 1991. Bo then pursued further studies in Statistics, completing a Visiting Scholar program at Stanford University from 1992 to 1993. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Statistics from Aalborg University in 1996.
