Sami Järvensivu

Sami Järvensivu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sami currently serves as Head of Project Controlling at Kaupunkiliikenne Oy, overseeing projects related to public transportation infrastructure in the Helsinki area. Prior to this, they held the position of CFO at Aro Systems Oy, where they were responsible for the Finance and IT departments. Sami also has experience as a Business Area Controller at NCC, a leading construction and property development company in the Nordic region. Earlier in their career, they held several Business Controlling and Finance Director positions at ABB, a global technology company. Sami also worked as a Business Controller and Finance Manager at FläktGroup Finland, where they were a member of the management team. Sami began their career as an ICT and Financial Trainee at Orion Corporation. Sami Järvensivu has a Master's Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, completed in 2006. Sami also completed a Management Development Program (ABB Manager 2016) at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development in 2016, a Finance and Business Control Program (FBC2012) at IMD in 2012, and a Controller Performance Program (CPP2010) at Hanken & SSE Executive Education in 2011. Additionally, they obtained the certification of Certified Project Business Controller from ABB in June 2016.
