Dr. Rainer Jorach

Vice President Engineering Global at Kautex Textron

Dr. Rainer Jorach has an extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Dr. Rainer currently holds the position of Vice President of Engineering Global at Kautex Textron, a leading automotive supplier. Prior to this, Dr. Jorach worked as the Senior Director of Engineering for the Fluid Pressure & Controls Group at Magna Powertrain, where they led a multinational team in developing mechatronic products. Dr. Rainer also held the position of Director of Product Development at J. Eberspächer GmbH & Co KG, overseeing the development of exhaust systems for the passenger car business unit. Before that, Dr. Jorach worked at Delphi as the Chief Engineer of Common Rail Pumps, leading a team in developing high-pressure diesel pumps. Their earlier experience includes working at L'Orange GmbH as the Head of Development and at Daimler in various roles, including leading the engine testing department and working on innovative projects such as hydrogen-based engines.

Dr. Rainer Jorach received their Dipl.-Ing. degree in Maschinenbau from Ruhr University Bochum in 1989. Dr. Rainer later pursued their Dr.-Ing. degree in Maschinenbau from the University of Stuttgart from 1994 to 1996.
