Roman Bouffier

Roman Bouffier has held various roles in the field of engineering and research. From August 2015 to September 2022, they worked at Kautex Textron, starting as a Senior Manager Research and then progressing to become the Director of Research. In September 2022, they transitioned to the role of Director Engineering. Prior to their time at Kautex Textron, Roman worked as Chief Engineer at the Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung (IKV) in Industrie und Handwerk an der RWTH Aachen from August 2012 to August 2015.

Roman Bouffier received their undergraduate degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering) from RWTH Aachen University in 2007. Roman then went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Polymer-/Kunststofftechnik (Polymer/Plastics Engineering) from the same university, completing their doctoral studies in 2012.
