Andrés Contreras

Andrés Contreras is the CEO of Kavak.com in Mexico. Prior to this role, they were the customer experience and payments manager at Linio México from December 2015 to October 2016. In this role, they were responsible for automating customer solutions, negotiating with new suppliers, and improving the approval rate for payment platforms. Andrés also improved the company's SLA accomplishment rate from 85% to 95% and reduced the time it took to process returns from 15 days to 4 days.

Before joining Linio México, Andrés Contreras worked at Procter & Gamble as a manufacturing operating expenses manager from July 2013 to November 2015. In this role, they managed controllable budgets and found efficiencies and savings year over year in a country with one of the highest inflation rates in the world.

Andres Contreras has a diploma in Corporate Finance from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico, an Engineer's degree in Production Engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar, and an Intercultural Exchange from Abo Akademi University.

Andrés Contreras reports to Carlos Garcia Ottati, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Fernando Scasserra - CTO, Moises Flores Botello - CFO, and Ricardo Enrique Sue Ochoa - Chief Expansion Officer.
