Carlos Julio Garcia

Carlos Julio Garcia is a seasoned aviation professional with a diverse background spanning several decades in both military and civilian roles. Currently serving as an Aviation Consultant at Oryx Aviation Services LLC since January 2022, Garcia also acts as an Angel Investor and Advisor for Kavak Mexico. Previous leadership positions include Director of Flight Operations and Director of Safety Management at Falcon Aviation Services, and Operations Manager for the International Business Unit at Bristow, where operations focused on offshore helicopter services for the oil and gas sector. Garcia's extensive experience in the Venezuelan Navy culminated in a promotion to Rear Admiral, complemented by roles in the US Navy as a Search and Rescue Coordinator. Educational qualifications include advanced degrees in Aviation Safety Management and Human Resources Development, among others, acquired from institutions such as the University of Southern California and the U.S. Naval War College.
