Aran Fernando

Aran Fernando has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Aran served as the Head of Sales & Client Relations at Kavida.ai, where they managed interactions between procurement teams and global suppliers. Aran also held the position of Head of Country - Sri Lanka at Kavida.ai. Aran then became the Secretary General at Resilient Sri Lanka Forum, an industry forum focused on building resilience into various industries, starting with the apparel industry. Prior to these roles, Aran worked as an Analyst at Ample and an Independent Consultant, advising a team behind a new medical charity for female incontinence post-childbirth. Aran also served as a Territory Manager for North & West London at Sweden & Martina Spa. Aran's previous experience includes roles at B. Braun Group, where they were a Strategic Key Account Manager, CRM Manager, and Assistant Manager for B. Braun Avitum Sri Lanka & Maldives. Before that, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Sociable Pharma and a Global Account Manager at Visiongain. Aran started their career as an Insurance Consultant for Reward Health and also worked as a Pharmaceutical Analyst at visiongain.

Aran Fernando began their education at Colombo International School, where they completed their Edexcel GCE O Levels in the years 2001 to 2005. Aran then attended Ilford County High School from 2005 to 2007 to complete their A Levels. In 2007, they enrolled at the University of Nottingham and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Biochemistry, which they completed in 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, Aran pursued a Master's Degree in Radiation Biology/Radiobiology from UCL, which they completed in 2012.
