A. Stephen Upton

A. Stephen Upton has a long history of working in air traffic control. A. Stephen began their career in 2002 with the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller. A. Stephen then moved up the ranks to become an Air Traffic Control Automations Specialist, Air Traffic Control Supervisor, and Manager of Air Traffic Control Standardization. In 2018, they became an Air Traffic Manager with the Air Force. In 2019, they were promoted to First Sergeant with the United States Air Force. In 2022, they began working with KAYA Associates as an Air Traffic Controller and with Amentum as an Air Traffic Control Specialist.

A. Stephen Upton has an Associate's degree in Air Traffic Control Management from the Community College of the Air Force, which they obtained in 2021. A. Stephen also holds three certifications: FAA Control Tower Operator from the Federal Aviation Administration (obtained in 2003), Air Traffic Control Tower Operator from the United States Air Force (obtained in 2002), and FAA CTO from the Federal Aviation Administration (obtained in 2002).
