Daria Klepinina

Daria Klepinina has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Daria started their career as a Junior Software Engineer at EPAM Systems in 2010, and gradually advanced to roles of Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. During their time at EPAM Systems, they worked as a contractor for Seamless.com, contributing to the rebranding process, implementing new features, and making design and user flow changes.

In 2012, Daria joined anywayanyday.com as a Web Software Engineer. Daria played a crucial role in integrating additional flight ticket services and undertaking a full-scale website redesign. Daria later took on the role of Senior Web Engineer, where they integrated a new bank card discount system and implemented infinite scroll design for landing pages.

In 2015, Daria joined Lamudi as a Web Engineer, where they led the creation of marketing pages and implemented custom data charts using D3 library. Daria also reorganized the CSS code and introduced the BEM (Block, Element, Modifier) approach for better code maintenance. Additionally, they refactored the JavaScript code to follow a modular approach and integrated Jasmine unit tests.

Since 2016, Daria has been working at KAYAK. Daria initially joined as a Web Software Engineer and contributed to the implementation of client-oriented features using the AngularJS framework. Daria also played a role in the conversion to Typescript, introduced the CSS BEM approach, and created client-side localization. Currently, they hold the position of Frontend Team Lead, where they manage a team responsible for the checkout and payment flow. Their responsibilities include leading the team, managing sprint cycles, defining the roadmap and goals, and overseeing the performance reviews and recruiting process.

Throughout their career, Daria has showcased their expertise in web development, teamwork, leadership, and project management.

Daria Klepinina completed their education from 2006 to 2011 at Saratov State University named after N.G.Chernyshevsky, where they earned a Specialist degree in Applied mathematics and computer science.
