Björn Felber

Björn Felber has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Björn started their career at GANZIMMUN Diagnostics AG as a Product Owner, focusing on patient reports from 2007 to 2010. Björn then joined Mapi Group, where they worked as a Site Management Associate and later as a Global Clinical Project Assistant, managing multiple departments and contributing to the organization of global late-phase studies. At Mapi Group, Björn also served as a CTMS instructor, providing training on the in-house Clinical Trial Management System.

Since 2015, Björn has been working at Kayentis. Björn started as a Project Manager, overseeing the implementation of patient-centered solutions for various clinical trials. With their expertise and client-centered approach, they established strong relationships with clients and supported the sales team in business development. Björn then took on the role of Senior Project Manager, serving as the primary point of contact for a top pharmaceutical company, harmonizing operational aspects, and providing client assistance during audits and inspections. Later, they became the Line Manager for Project Management in France, where they managed a team of eCOA Project Managers and ensured high-quality project delivery.

In 2018, Björn was promoted to Regional Director - USA, taking responsibility for the Boston office and building a new team. Björn successfully established the affiliate with support from colleagues in the European headquarters. During their tenure, line management activities evolved with the growing team structure. In 2021, Björn became the Portfolio Manager at Kayentis, overseeing projects, coordinating transversal communications, and driving process enhancements and the technical roadmap. Currently, they hold the position of Clinical Business Unit Manager, managing a cross-functional team, ensuring project success, and focusing on data integrity and customer satisfaction.

Björn Felber holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007. In 2013 to 2014, they also pursued a program in Epidemiology called "DU méthodes et pratique en épidémiologie" at Université Bordeaux Segalen. Additionally, Björn Felber has obtained a certification in Basics of Project Management from the Adult Education Centre Wiesbaden, although specific details regarding its completion are not provided.
