Sasan Hashemi

Sasan Hashemi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in AI and data science, currently serving as Chief AI Scientist at Kayhan Space since May 2024. Previously, Sasan held positions as AI Engineering Manager and Lead AI Architect at Jobvite from July 2020 to May 2024. Prior to that, Sasan served as a Senior Data Scientist at KSM Consulting from October 2017 to July 2020 and worked as a Research Assistant at Indiana University, focusing on Computational Systems Biology, from February 2013 to October 2017. Sasan's educational background includes a PhD in Bioinformatics from Indiana University (2013-2017), an MS in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University (2009-2012), and a BS in Computer Engineering from Urmia University (2004-2009). Sasan also gained experience as a Research Intern at Genentech during the summer of 2015.
