Cooper Ziecik has a diverse work experience history. Cooper started their career as an Actuary Intern at Meadowbrook Insurance Group in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Summer Analyst at Telemus Capital Partners. In 2013, they were a Market Analyst at Benzinga. From 2014 to 2018, they joined Piper Jaffray as a Debt Capital Markets and Restructuring Investment Banking Associate and Analyst, where they provided investment banking advisory solutions to middle-market clients. Since 2018, they have been working at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P., initially as a Senior Associate in Private Credit and currently as the Vice President in the same department. In this role, they underwrite senior loans for private equity sponsor and family-owned businesses to support acquisition financings, refinancings, recapitalizations, and growth capital needs.

Cooper Ziecik completed their high school education at Detroit Country Day School from 2007 to 2010. Cooper then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Economics at the University of Michigan from 2010 to 2014. During their time at the University of Michigan, Ziecik also attended the Stephen M. Ross School of Business where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance, General. Additionally, Ziecik has pursued certification in Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
