Shawyan Ahmadian

Shawyan Ahmadian is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in asset management and investment strategy. Currently serving as an Associate at Kayne Anderson since May 2023, Shawyan specializes in managing the firm's investments and navigating complex loan modifications and restructurings. Previously, at KeyBank Commercial from October 2018 to May 2023, Shawyan held various roles, culminating as Asset Manager II and Team Lead for Special Servicing, overseeing teams focused on defaulted loan workouts and due diligence for commercial mortgage-backed securities. Shawyan also served in leadership positions within the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, including Treasurer, Housing Chairman, Secretary, and Community Service Chairman, while gaining research experience as a Research Assistant at the Kansas Biological Survey. An alumni of The University of Kansas, Shawyan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.
