Oleg Novachuk

Oleg joined the Group in 2001 and was appointed Chair on 1 January 2018, with responsibility for strategy, government relations and business development. Oleg was Finance Director from 2005 to 2007, overseeing the Group’s Listing on the London Stock Exchange, before serving as Chief Executive Officer from 2007 to 2017, during which time he led the delivery of the major growth projects, Bozshakol and Aktogay, and the Restructuring that created KAZ Minerals. Prior to joining the Group, Oleg was chairman of Kazprombank JSC.
