Kamal-ad-Din Uteshev has extensive experience in the legal field, starting with their role as Chief Legal Counsel at Logos kz. Advertising LLP. Kamal-ad-Din then moved on to become a Senior Legal Counsel at VEK Corporatiol LLP, before joining Kazakhmys PLC as a Senior Lawyer. During their time at Kazakhmys PLC, Kamal-ad-Din carried out major M&A transactions and provided legal counsel on regulatory and other Kazakh law issues. Kamal-ad-Din later became a Senior Lawyer at KAZ Minerals, where they continued to handle legal matters. After that, they worked as a Senior Associate at Verum Law Firm before joining Kazakhmys Holding LLC as the General Counsel to the President. Kamal-ad-Din Uteshev has showcased their versatility and expertise in various legal and commercial issues throughout their career.

From 2001 to 2007, Kamal-ad-Din Uteshev attended Kazakh Humanitarian Law University, where they achieved a Bachelor's degree in International Law and Legal Studies. Kamal-ad-Din graduated with summa cum laude honors.
