Redmond Urbino has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Redmond began their career in 1999 as a Lead Programmer at Quicksilver Software. In 2005, they moved to Walt Disney Internet Group as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2011, they joined Ogmento as a Lead Gameplay Programmer. In 2012, they were a Senior Mobile Games Engineer at Disney Mobile, where they were the Tech Lead on Temple Run Oz, the #1 paid app for a month and the #3 paid iPhone app of 2013. Redmond also did optimization work on Where's My Mickey and Stack Rabbit, as well as facebook and webplayer integration for Stack Rabbit. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Jam City as Studio Director of Engineering and at Magaling Studios as Chief Everything Officer, where they designed and developed Word Former in 24 hours. Most recently, they were Vice President Of Engineering at Kazoo Games, where they mentored engineers to make amazing games and led development of the technical stack, from front-end to back-end.
Redmond Urbino attended the University of the Philippines from 1991 to 1995 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
