Jesse Kleist

Jesse Kleist, MCP has extensive work experience in the construction and development industry. Jesse started their career in 2004 as an Assistant Construction Manager at Toll Brothers, where they managed the construction of multi-family condominiums. Jesse then moved on to GH Palmer Associates in 2006, where they served as a Construction Manager and oversaw the construction of a luxury apartment/mixed-use building. At Diversified Development, Jesse worked as a Project Manager from 2009 to 2014, handling project pre-planning, land development, estimating, purchasing, and contract negotiations for multi-family construction. Jesse later joined the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation as a Land Development Project Manager in 2015. Currently, Jesse holds the position of Vice President of Forward Planning and Development at KB Home, a role they started in 2017.

Jesse Kleist holds a Master's degree in City Planning, Housing and Urban Development from San Diego State University. Additionally, they have a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Business Management, also from San Diego State University. Prior to this, Jesse attended St. Peter Senior High School in Saint Peter, Minnesota from 1993 to 1997.
