Bart Vrelust

Bart Vrelust has over two decades of experience in investment management, currently serving as the Department Head of Investment Management at KBC Asset Management since 2000. Vrelust has held multiple leadership roles, including Department Head of Investment Research and Financial Risk Management, overseeing significant assets under management (AuM) and leading teams across various European cities. Responsibilities have included managing financial risk for portfolios amounting to 100 billion euros and directing risk management for structured products worth 25 billion euros. Vrelust possesses extensive expertise in all asset classes, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and is actively involved in teaching as a guest lecturer at EHSAL Management School. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Financial Analyst designation, a summer course at The London School of Economics focused on derivatives, and a degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Antwerp.
