Joris Lauwers

Joris Lauwers is an experienced professional in the field of finance and risk management, currently serving as a product risk expert at KBC Asset Management since July 2004. Joris has held multiple leadership positions within the organization, including head of financial risk for both the economic and regulatory team and equity, balanced, and CPPI funds, as well as risk and performance manager. Prior to this role, Joris completed a postdoctoral position at KU Leuven in the Institute of Theoretical Physics from October 2003 to July 2004. Joris holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from KU Leuven.
