Jorne Swinnen

Jorne Swinnen, CFA, currently serves as the Department Head of Investments, Savings, and Risk Insurances at KBC Bank & Verzekering, leading a multidisciplinary team focused on policy, product innovation, and business development since December 2016. Prior to this role, Jorne was a Senior Advisor in Corporate M&A at KBC Group, specializing in merger and acquisition activities, including leading a €9bn asset sale. Jorne's earlier experience includes positions at KBC Securities as an Investment Banking/Management Trainee and as a Performance Analyst at BNP Paribas Investment Partners. Jorne holds a Master of Science in Business Economics from KU Leuven, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from KU Leuven, and a Bachelor's in Education from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
