Julie Laake is a Partner and Tax Director at KBF CPAs, a west coast regional accounting firm specializing in tax, audit, and advisory services, where Julie has been since November 2014. With a focus on accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) and tax compliance, Julie previously served as Tax Senior Manager at Kieckhafer, Schiffer & Company, LLP, another firm that ultimately became part of KBF. Prior experience includes positions as Tax Manager at PwC and Associate at KPMG. Julie also contributed to the community as a PTA Board Member at Ashley Falls Elementary School from January 2020 to June 2022. Julie holds a Master of Professional Accounting with a concentration in Taxation from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the UW Foster School of Business.
