Dave Brown

Dave Brown has a strong background in quality assurance and quality systems in the biopharmaceutical industry. Dave is currently working as a Principal Quality Specialist at KBI Biopharma since June 2021. Prior to this, they were a Manager of the Process Investigations Team at Novartis Gene Therapies from October 2020 to June 2021. Dave also served as a Senior Quality Systems Specialist at AveXis, Inc. from December 2019 to October 2020. Before joining AveXis, Dave held various roles at KBI Biopharma, including Principal QA Specialist from June 2016 to December 2019 and Senior Quality Assurance Specialist from July 2014 to December 2019. Dave began their career at Amgen, where they worked as a Quality Specialist from July 2005 to April 2014, managing the disposition of drug substance packages. Prior to Amgen, Dave worked as a Manufacturing Specialist (1992-1998) and Engineer Specialist (1999-2005).

Dave Brown earned their Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Colorado State University from 1985 to 1990. Dave also obtained a degree in History within the same time frame. Additionally, they have a certification in Excel Essential Training (Microsoft 365) from LinkedIn, which was obtained in 2024.
