Umut Alp

Umut Alp is the current Chief Technology Officer at Kbox Global. Prior to this, they were with Truecaller from January 2009 to December 2018, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer. Umut was responsible for building and growing tech teams during their time there. From January 2018 to January 2020, they took on tech and product advisory roles with various startups. Prior to that, from January 2002 to December 2009, they were an R&D Manager and Lead Software Engineer with multiple companies.

Umut Alp studied electrical and electronics engineering at Boğaziçi University.
