Omar Valverde is an accomplished aerospace and systems engineer with a strong background in digital engineering and innovation. They began their career as a NASA intern in 2009 and have since held various key positions, including Director of Engineering at Istari and Senior Technical Professional Leader at KBR, Inc., where they currently work. Omar also served as a Lead Systems Engineer and Group Leader at MITRE from 2016 to 2019 and obtained both a Bachelor of Science from Boston University and a Master of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. They are currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at North Carolina State University.
