Muhammad Waqas

Muhammad Waqas is an experienced Chief Mechanic in the drilling and oilfield sector, currently serving at Bentec GmbH Drilling & Oilfield Systems since May 2024 and as Workshop Chief Mechanic at KCA Deutag since September 2022. With a solid background in mechanical maintenance and repair, Waqas has held key positions as Chief Rig Mechanic at Saipem, Parker Drilling Company, and EFADCO Petroleum Services Co., overseeing comprehensive maintenance operations and ensuring high standards of equipment function. Previous roles include Rig Mechanic positions at Burgan Company for Well Drilling and Oil and Gas Exploration Company Krakow Ltd, along with early experience as an Assistant Mechanic. Waqas holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Preston University.
