David Ngugi

David Ngugi is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the Head of Investment Research at KCB Asset Management Ltd since August 2023. Prior to this role, David worked as an Investment Research Analyst at National Bank of Kenya from May 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included conducting portfolio analysis and providing investment guidance. Experience also includes a stint as a Financial Analyst at Spearhead Africa, where research and investment pipeline development for infrastructure opportunities in East Africa were key tasks. Additionally, David held positions as an Investment Analyst and Assistant Investment Analyst at Cytonn Investments from February 2018 to January 2021. David's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Finance) from Multimedia University and a Master's in Finance from the University of Nairobi, ongoing since September 2024, along with relevant certifications from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and KASNEB.
