Mo McRae

Mo McRae is a seasoned professional in urban planning and development with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Project Director at KCG Companies since September 2024 and a Planning Board Member for the Winston Salem Forsyth County Planning Board since September 2020, McRae has previously held positions including Director of the Southeast Region at Urban Atlantic and Vice President of Development at KCG Companies. Beginning a career as a Project Analyst at Brailsford & Dunlavey, Inc., and working as an Analyst at Federal Practice Group LLC, McRae has developed a robust skill set in planning and optimizing living and learning environments, as well as partnering with public housing authorities to enhance affordable housing quality. Mo McRae holds a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies and Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
