MacKenzie Hammel

Mackenzie Hammel, EIT, is a Water Resources Engineer in training at KCI Technologies, Inc., since July 2023. Previously, Mackenzie held a Department Chair Research Fellowship at the University of Delaware's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering from January to December 2022, focusing on leadership and research in munition mobility on beaches. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant, Mackenzie dedicated over 400 hours to the Center for Applied Coastal Research, investigating the behavior of variable density munitions during extreme conditions. Mackenzie earned a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2023.
