Jill Smayo

Jill Smayo has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Jill started working at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 2001 as Principal Gifts. In 2003, they joined Weill Cornell Medical College / New York Presbyterian Hospital, where they served in the Corporate and Foundation Relations role. Following that, they worked at La Jolla Playhouse as Individual Gifts from 2004 to 2006. Jill then joined San Diego Opera as Director, Individual Gifts, where they worked from 2006 to 2013. In 2013, they moved on to Invisible Children Inc. as Director of Development. Jill Smayo's most recent position was Chief Operating Officer at KCRW, which they held from 2017 onwards. Before that, they served as Director of Development at KCRW from 2014 to 2017.
