Pj Shahamat

PJ Shahamat is an experienced sound engineer and production professional currently working at NPR as a Sound Engineer for "Next Generation Radio" since January 2022 and previously serving as a Sound Engineering Apprentice for the same program in January 2020. In addition, PJ has held the position of Production Engineer/Technical Director at KCRW since July 2019, and has contributed as a Volunteer Audio Assistant on "Morning Becomes Eclectic." Prior experience includes internships and roles at The Sundial, where PJ worked as an Audio Editor and managed multiple podcasts, as well as an internship at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. PJ holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Business from California State University, Northridge.
