KD College is a film and acting school that was established in 1979 inDallas, Texas. The studio prepares students for their careers in theentertainment industry.KD College, which is accredited by the Southern Association of Collegesand Schools, offers various programs for acting, film and musicaltheater, as well as workshops for adults andchildren. Each program iscomprised of modern, relevant skills and techniques sought after in theindustry today.The school offers eight-week programs, summer camps, and a 15-monthassociate's degree program in film, acting, and musical theater. Theschool received an exemplary rating on its AA degree from The TexasHigher Education Coordinating Board.The Film degree is earned by completing the Motion Picture ProductionProgram. This program teaches students basic skills and techniques neededto gain entry into the film industry. Some of the knowledge learned willinclude screenwriting, producing, directing, cinematography, and postproduction.The Acting Performance program prepares students for acting on film andon stage.KD College practices an open admissions policy, allowing every applicantthe opportunity to gain admission regardless of background or previousexperience.Although the responsibility for tuition payments belongs solely to thestudent, the school's financial aid office will help students apply forfederal financial aid such as Pell grants and loans.To contact the main office please call (214) 638-0484.
