Koji Shikano

Koji Shikano is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and IT sectors. Currently serving as Senior General Manager at KDDI Corporation since April 2019, Shikano focuses on global business development, investment, and mergers and acquisitions, particularly with mobile operators outside Japan. Prior to this role, Shikano was the CEO and COO of Locus Telecommunications from October 2016 to April 2019, overseeing the H2O brand's operations in the US. Shikano's previous positions at KDDI Corporation include Head of Global Consumer Business and Head of Global Carrier Business, as well as a leadership role in the Global Data Center Business at TELEHOUSE America. Shikano holds a degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, and Management from The University of Tokyo.
