Michael Fagioli has a diverse work experience. Michael most recently worked at Kean University as the Associate Director of Online Learning Technology starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Thomas Edison State University from July 2015 to July 2022 as an Instructional Technologist. Michael also has experience as a Level 2 Administrative Reviewer and CTE Item Writer and Reviewer at Central Florida Assessment Collaborative (CFAC) from May 2014 to June 2015. Michael has also worked in various educational roles, including BTC - Building Technology Coordinator and High School English and TV Production Teacher at Collier County School District from August 2011 to June 2015, Middle School English Teacher at Bronx Prep Charter School from December 2010 to June 2011, and Student Teacher at Kings Park Central School School District from September 2010 to December 2010. Additionally, they have substitute teaching experience at Middle Country School District from December 2009 to June 2010 and Sachem Central School District from November 2007 to June 2010. Before entering the education field, Michael gained experience in the film industry as a Production Office Coordinator at Kismet Films from September 2007 to December 2007, and as a Festival Coordinator at Golden Wagon Film Festival from May 2007 to September 2007.
Michael Fagioli holds a Master's degree in Information Science and Learning Technology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Second Baccalaureate Program in English and Secondary Education at SUNY Stony Brook from 2008 to 2010. Michael also has a BA in Communications, Media Production from Quinnipiac University, which they earned from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they participated in a Study Abroad Program at AIFS Richmond College in Florence, Italy in 2006. Michael has obtained several certifications, including Technology Teacher from the State of New Jersey in 2015, Business Education 6-12 from the State of Florida in 2013, Reading Endorsement from the State of Florida in 2013, Technology Education 6-12 from the State of Florida in 2012, English Language Arts Teacher, grades 6-12 from the State of Florida in 2011, English Language Arts Grades 7-12 from the New York State Education Department in 2011, and Teacher of English Standard Certificate from the State of New Jersey.
