Pedro Mateache

Pedro Mateache is a prominent figure in the financial sector with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as President and Leader of Iberia Financial Institutions at Kearney since November 2011, Pedro has also held positions as Partner and Leader of the Financial Institutions Practice in EMEA and Vice-President & Head of Financial Institutions in Spain and Portugal. Prior to Kearney, Pedro co-founded Geminis Capital in 2008, focusing on minority investments in European Small Caps. At Banco Santander, Pedro acted as General Manager and was responsible for operations and strategic initiatives from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, Pedro spent over 20 years at McKinsey & Company, culminating in a role as Partner and Director, where leadership was provided to the Financial Institutions Practice in Iberia. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Licentiate degree in Law along with a Graduate degree in Economics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
