Francis Anto Akkara has a diverse range of work experience in the field of engineering. Francis Anto is currently working as an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer at KEBA Group since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Intern in Hardware - eAMS (electronics Analysis, Modeling & Simulation) at Visteon Germany from August 2019 to January 2020.
During their Master's program at Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences, Francis completed various roles. From March 2020 to September 2020, they worked on their Master Thesis focused on modeling and experimental verification of Negative Refraction Index Metamaterials. Their responsibilities included modeling and analyzing basic structures and metamaterials, extracting effective permeability and permittivity, and conducting case studies on 2-D media transmission line models.
From February 2018 to March 2019, Francis worked as a Work Student at Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences. Their tasks included DRAM testing and developing automated tests for advanced systems. Francis Anto also conducted retention time tests and Row hammer tests for various ICs in DDR3 SDRAM.
Before starting their Master's program, Francis worked as an Apprentice at Kerala State Electricity Board from July 2016 to December 2016. Their responsibilities involved the maintenance of EHT, HT, and LT equipment, hands-on experience with substation switch gears and transformers, and analysis of current transmission.
Overall, Francis Anto Akkara has gained valuable experience in electromagnetic compatibility engineering, hardware analysis, modeling and simulation, as well as power transmission and maintenance during their career.
Francis Anto Akkara completed their B Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, spanning from 2012 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters degree in Engineering Sciences at Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences, from 2017 to 2020.
