Denecia Fernandes

Denecia Fernandes is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Dietetic Intern at both Keck Medicine of USC and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. With a background in nutrition and health, Denecia has gained experience in community nutrition and medical nutrition therapy through various internships, including the USC WorkWell Center and UCLA Athletics. Additionally, Denecia has a significant coaching background, overseeing rugby teams and leading nutrition education segments for athletes of different ages. Denecia has held leadership roles such as Co-Captain and Co-President for university sports clubs, demonstrating strong organizational and team management skills. Denecia holds a Master of Science in Nutrition, Healthspan, and Longevity from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
