Rahul Iyengar

Rahul Iyengar is currently a Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellow at Keck Medicine of USC, having begun this position in July 2023. Prior to this fellowship, Rahul completed a residency at LAC USC Keck School of Medicine from July 2020 to June 2023 and had a residency at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center from May 2019 to June 2020. Rahul’s background includes significant tutoring experience at the Institute for Higher Learning, where custom lesson plans were designed for ACT/SAT/MCAT students. As a co-founder and Director of Operations at Mountain Labs, Rahul facilitated the development of a healthcare IT startup aimed at improving data sharing among hospitals. Additional experiences include contributions as a biomedical engineer at Medella Solutions, serving as an instructional aide at the University of Michigan, and conducting research at the University of Michigan Health System. Rahul holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Michigan Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
